Our Dear Principal’s Birthday Celebration – 14 November 2023
‘Mentoring is a brain to pick, an ear to listen and a push in the right direction.’ – John C. Crosby
We celebrated our dear Mentor’s Birthday on 14 November 2023. The children and teachers made this day special for our dear Me. Charlie by hosting a morning celebration which was held at the school fields.
Our day began with a prayer asking the Almighty to bless Me Charlie with her choicest blessings.
All Classes prepared a card wishing Me Charlie a Happy Birthday holding special tributes for her like balloons, hearts, smiley faces, flowers etc.
The teachers put up a creative ‘Happy Birthday’ to end the celebration.
May the Lord bless you, keep you, love you and guide you under His wings. May you forever be our inspiring, supportive, loving and beautiful Principal. Wishing you a day filled with happiness, a month filled with smiles and a year filled with joy!
On 30November, Our school had a pens down carnival to close off the year and let learners relax and have fun after a very long year. The learners where able to enjoy giant slides, foam pits and many more exciting activities. We are glad to report that they had lots of fun.......
All learners and teachers attended the recent sports day which was held at the school and had a chance to experience how much the inter-house competition means to our learners. The house system has an important role in how students and staff construct their sense of belonging; they 'belong' to their houses, and by association they belong to the school. The learners had a chance to participate in various athletic sports such as the javelin, shotput and 100m run and also 1000m run. Having activities and shared group experiences enhanced belonging and becoming more central to our work in school, developing great learning environments and supporting the well-being of our communities. Sports days have enhanced this by making them inclusive, adding team elements to their events, and helping students feel part of the whole.
WE LOOK FORWARD TO THE NEXT INTERHOUSE!!!
